Buena Vista, Colorado – Famed ultrarunner, author, and The North Face athlete Dean Karnazes will appear at The Trailhead and Trailhead Cycle & Ski on Saturday, August 21st. Karnazes will be in Buena Vista to compete in the annual Gore-Tex TransRockies Run.
Mr. Karnazes will sign copies of his bestselling book “Ultramarathon Man.” The North Face will have trail running shoes for demo on The Trailhead’s TrailCenter trails.
Karnazes has won the Badwater Ultramarathon, the Vermont 100-miler, and has 11 silver buckles for completing the Western States 100 in less than 24 hours. He may be best known for completing 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 consecutive days. Karnazes has been featured on CNN, NBC’s Today, David Letterman, and NPR’s Morning Edition.
