This question is for those of you that did the race in both 2006 and in 2007. We did the race in 2006 and are doing the race in 2008. Which direction did you prefer - 2006 or 2007? We remember the hike a bike sections in 2006 and wonder what it'll be like going down them. Any feedback would be appreciated!!!

I've ridden the TR since 2004. The finish in Panorama was miserable. And the hike-a-bike up the rock garden was no fun at all. I'd take a finish in Fernie any day.
So, for my money 2007 wins over 2006. Now, if we can do the days into and out of Blairmore then we'll have a couple of great final days, Tough and interesting.

I did the race in 02 and 07 finishing in Canmore / Fernie respectively.
Finishing in the those towns was absolutely brilliant. Glad I missed the finish in Panorama. Everyone says it was pants due to the lack of spectators, oh and the rain,
